Student Stipends
NCB will provide a number of stipends to help cover expenses of travel, lodging, meals, and registration for current undergraduate and graduate students that live more than 60 miles from Chico who wish to attend this symposium. Butte College and CSU Chico students are also encouraged to apply; NCB will provide registration refunds to a number of local area students.
Applications must be received no later than 1 December 2023 and should be emailed to russhudd@gmail.com. Apply early – stipends are awarded on a first-come basis to qualified applicants. Students must be registered for the symposium to be awarded a stipend. See note below. Applicants awarded stipends will be notified by email in late December or early January. The check for $200 can be picked up at the registration desk at the conference.

REGISTRATION: STUDENTS NEED TO REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE BY 15 DECEMBER 2023 TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE STIPEND. IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED BY THAT DATE, YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE REJECTED.
